United Capital Securities Limited (UCSL) has emerged as the #1 stockbroker for the month of May 2025, according to the latest report from the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX). UCSL, a subsidiary of United Capital Group, led the list with a transaction value of N109.14 billion, accounting for 15.56% of all stockbroker transactions during the month. This represents nearly a quarter (24.97%) of the total value transacted by the top 10 brokers. 

In addition to topping the value list, the securities trading company also led in volume, facilitating the trading of 3.2 billion shares throughout May. The impressive performance comes amidst a period of strong growth in the Nigerian equities market. The market capitalization of the Nigerian stock exchange surpassed N70 trillion for the first time, marking a historic milestone in the country’s financial markets, with stockbrokers like United Capital playing a key role in this achievement.
