United Capital Plc is a leading Pan-African financial services institution focused on leveraging technology to empower businesses, individuals and governments with excellent financial services
United Capital’s Investor Relations function is committed to upholding best practices in corporate disclosure, delivering clarity and consistency to investors and financial partners.
United Capital Plc, a leading Pan-African financial and investment services group, recently hosted its maiden United Capital Investor Relations Roundtable, bringing together investors, analysts, journalists and other key stakeholders for an in-depth discussion on the Group’s Half Year 2026 financial performance, strategic priorities and long-term growth outlook.
The interactive engagement provided stakeholders with direct access to the Group’s executive leadership, offering insights into the drivers behind United Capital’s 80% YoY growth in Profit Before Tax (PBT) in the first half of 2026 and the strategic priorities shaping the Group’s next phase of growth across Africa.
Speaking during the event, Peter Ashade, Group Chief Executive Officer of United Capital Plc, described the roundtable as part of the Group’s commitment to transparency, stakeholder engagement and long-term value creation.
“This engagement reflects our commitment to building an institution that thrives on transparency, accountability and continuous dialogue with our stakeholders. While our H1 performance demonstrates the strength of our business model and execution capabilities, we believe this is only the beginning. Over the past eight years, we have deliberately transformed United Capital from a traditional capital market operator into a diversified financial services group with a growing pan African footprint, and we remain confident in the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Ashade highlighted the Group’s evolution from four businesses to seven operating businesses and two associate companies, alongside its expansion into twelve African countries. He noted that United Capital’s entry into markets such as Rwanda and Ethiopia reflects a deliberate strategy to broaden access to financial services and unlock long term opportunities across the continent.
“As we expand across Africa, we are not simply entering new markets. We are building platforms that connect capital with opportunity, deepen financial inclusion and create lasting value for our stakeholders. Our vision is clear, and every strategic decision we make is guided by disciplined execution and long-term sustainability.”
“The investment landscape continues to evolve, but disciplined investors who remain focused on long term fundamentals will continue to find opportunities. Nigeria remains an attractive investment destination as ongoing reforms strengthen macroeconomic stability, while Africa’s long term growth story presents significant opportunities for institutions that are strategically positioned.”
