On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, United Capital Securities hosted a webinar titled “Banking on the Future: Understanding Rights Issues and Public Offers”. The webinar aimed to educate investors on the complexities of rights issues and public offers, especially in light of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s directive for commercial banks to raise funds through a bank recapitalization program. The session provided a comprehensive overview of these financial instruments, their potential benefits, and the strategies investors can employ to maximize their opportunities.
